Electro-Magnetic Mapping
All contributing share holders will be granted access to a preferential deal to complete a whole of farm electro-magnetic (EM) mapping program. This should translate to a saving of 40% on the cost of EM mapping and ongoing access to thousands of dollars in savings through the use of the decision support services.
EM mapping will save thousands in farm inputs no matter how big or small the farm is. Once mapped, the data remains good for years and it is yours! If you already have data like those with Canegrowers then this can be added to it
B.I.G. Contractor Logistics
Similar to the B.I.G. Machinery Pool but includes access to personnel and task specific expertise. Logistics services will provide members with support for the coordination of contractor use, pricing and access to can and pulse crop service providers. The Cooperative will endeavour to meet niche demands and not duplicate existing services satisfactorily addressing member’s needs.
B.I.G. Waste Supply
Green cane trash markets are being pursued in conjunction with ICGO under the ICGO strategic plan.
B.I.G. Cooperative Farm Management Strategies
B.I.G. seeks to allow members to respond cooperatively to FMS on an area basis, which would otherwise be cost prohibitive to respond to on an individual basis.
